We are currently looking to recruit TWO highly organized, enthusiastic and self-motivated Digital Editorial Assistants to join our dynamic team.
These roles have responsibility for supporting the expansion of the Digital Resources division. It is largely editorial and administrative in nature and is vitally important to the success of our growing department. The successful candidates will work across our Visual Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences portfolio, reporting to the Portfolio Director for Visual Arts and Senior Commissioning Editor for Humanities and Social Sciences. Examples of our market-leading digital products include Bloomsbury Fashion Central, Artfilms, Bloomsbury Philosophy Library and Bloomsbury History: Theory & Method.
These are excellent opportunities to gain experience with digital products and business models – a great foundation for career growth.
The role
Each Digital Editorial Assistant will play a pivotal part in the delivery and ongoing success of an exciting pipeline of digital products and product updates.   
Tasks will be varied but key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Digital Editorial team with new product signings
Supporting product launches and updates
Supporting the Digital Editorial Team and wider Bloomsbury Digital Resources department

Each role is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £24,000
Each role is based at our London office 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred).  Allocated office days for each role are: Wednesdays and Thursdays.
As an Assistant role, each position is eligible for Bloomsbury’s Rental Deposit Loan Scheme. To assist candidates who want to start and to establish a career in publishing, Bloomsbury offers an interest-free rental deposit to support securing somewhere to live. The rental deposit loan can be up to £3,000 and will be paid back over 2 years.
